Crystal River Wedding

Crystal River is a city in Citrus County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,485 at the 2000 census.(4,044 in 1990). According to the U.S Census estimates of 2005, the city had a population of 3,600. [1] The city was incorporated in 1903 and is the self professed "Home of the Manatee". Crystal River is located on the Crystal River and is home to a nuclear power plant, the Crystal River 3 Nuclear Generating Station.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.2 km (6.3 mi). 14.8 km (5.7 mi) of it is land and 1.5 km (0.6 mi) of it (9.09%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 3,485 people, 1,498 households, and 927 families residing in the city. The population density was 236.1/km (611.8/mi). There were 1,956 housing units at an average density of 132.5/km (343.4/mi). The racial makeup of the city was 83.76% White, 12.88% Black or African American, 0.40% Native American, 1.32% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 0.46% from other races, and 1.12% from two or more races. 3.04% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
